Passing the siding, this view from the front of a train shows the line entering a cutting. Disused points are ahead, and on the extreme left a rusting diesel shunter in exceptionally poor condition can just be seen behind the shed in a second siding. 02.09.2007

This view looks back south along the line towards the crossing. Trains give a good loud blast on the horn or whistle, but the cattle in the adjacent field were very unimpressed. They are obviously used to engines and loud noises. 02.09.2007

A rather terse notice referring to legal action bars the way, but it might be more sensible if it pointed out that there was a sheer drop into a river behind the hedge! 02.09.2007
Looking over the hedge (with a long lens from a safe position) the remaining girders of the former railway bridge can be seen in the undergrowth. This area is private and unsafe (the bridge has no upper surface). 02.09.2007
