The running shed at Sheffield Park, with, in the foreground, the dock at the end of Platform 1. At the time this was most frequently used for the Pullmans, but was also utilized to display locomotives and for footplate visits during special events. 02.06.2007. Sheffield Park Shed and Workshops is also featured in a separate gallery.

The shunt signal for Platform 1 is mounted on a post that would have been occupied by a southbound Starting signal if the line was open to the south. It is "Off" to allow the move towards the shed. 02.06.2007
A view south from the roof of the Museum building towards the end of the line catches the old single line locomotive shed and the USA tank parked at the end of the remaining Woodpax siding. The engine was later taken to Horsted Keynes where it still rests. 28.07.2010 3422. More pictures of the southern end of the line appear later.
