Roughly the same image in 2016. There is new track and an extension to the embankment on the right. The alteration was made to reinforce the embankment, which had been affected by burrowing rabbits. On the left a wooden fence has been erected around new apparatus cases, which have been moved from the eastern side of the line. 11.12.2016 14602
The Horsted Keynes southbound Inner Home signal in the "Off" position, with the route indicator showing a clear road into Platform 2. The image also captures new track and points at Leamland Junction. Just behind the signal, the yellow device is a greaser which lubricates wheel flanges. 20.05.2018 16572
Looking south west from the public footpath the Ardingly Branch curves away to the west from the southern end of Horsted Keynes Station. Stock can be seen in the distance in the long siding that was originally the up line into the station. The lens gives a false impression and the carriages are actually some distance away. 22.02.2009
A public footpath runs alongside the line north of Horsted Keynes and crosses the line south of Horsted House Farm bridge. This view looks south from the foot crossing. The second Up Advance Starter in the previous picture can be seen in the distance. This footpath allows visitors without a lineside permit to get quite close to the trains whilst remaining in a safe public environment. 29.08.2005
