B473

London, Brighton & South Coast Railway (LBSCR) Class E4 0-6-2T tank, B473, was rededicated and returned to service on 30 January 2010, following a major overhaul. Pictures of the overhaul are in a separate collection.

In May 2013 the engine was taken out of service following a problem with the firebox but it subsequently returned to service in August 2014 after repair.

This engine was formerly numbered 32473 and has also carried the name Birch Grove in the past. These images are in a separate gallery.
