34059 Sir Archibald Sinclair

Southern Railway (SR) Bulleid Battle of Britain 4-6-2, 34059 Sir Archibald Sinclair (rebuilt 1960) arrived on the Bluebell Railway on 28 October 1979, and following extensive restoration entered service on 24 April 2009. It's boiler certificate originally expired in 2019, but unfortunately it was necessary to take it out of service for repairs in 2011. Once the necessary works are undertaken it is hoped that it may re-enter service with a new boiler certificate.
