Unfortunately the recent wet weather has produced waist high lineside weeds. Despite much shouted encouragement from the train the search was unsuccessful. Not the best of images (I was not equipped for a fly-past) but swallows are now beginning to occupy the upper reaches of the Carriage Shed. They were only still for seconds and flew at an astonishing speed in the confined space catching flies. 16.06.2012 8115

A view inside the indicator shows how the individual illuminated letters or numbers are formed. This is the reverse of road D (the Dock siding) created out of fibre optics. This equipment is made by S&T in house and is rarely seen. The workmanship is obvious, but it also shows just how much skilled work is hidden inside cabinets or trunking. 25.03.2012 4152
