Looking north along the new zinc roof on the rear of the existing canopy. Owing to the age of the canopy some of the timbers are no longer straight and true, and standard zinc sheets could not be fitted with certainty of a waterproof seal. Some sheets are therefore being modified to fit, and the patches will then be removed. 18.01.2011 5585

This should be the outlet pipe from the new drainage system, but it had turned into an outlet trench as the river was in full flood, passing under both the River Ouse bridge and Poleay Bridge north of the station. The latter is normally dry but provides an overflow facility for excess water. 18.01.2011 5622
